She started her career with small roles but hit the big time as Colleen McMurphy on the ABC drama China Beach (1988–1991). Earning the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series in 1989 and 1992 was just the beginning!
She’s been rocking the big screen too, with memorable roles in Light Sleeper (1992), Tombstone (1993), Exit to Eden (1994), Fly Away Home (1996), and many more. Not to mention her voice work as Lois Lane in Superman: The Animated Series and Justice League.
In the 2000s, Delany lit up the small screen, starring in short-lived shows like Pasadena (2001), Presidio Med (2002–2003), and Kidnapped (2006–2007). Then, from 2007 to 2010, she brought her magic to Desperate Housewives as Katherine Mayfair, earning herself a Prism Award in 2009.
