South African former international cricketer who played for the South African Cricket Team. He also played for Titans in South African domestic cricket and Delhi Daredevils & Royal Challengers Bangalore in the Indian Premier League. During his 15-year international career, he won 3 ICC ODI Player Of The Year Awards (2010, 2014, 2015). He holds many batting records, including the world’s fastest ODI (One Day International) 50, 100 and 150, the fastest Test century by a South African and the fastest Twenty20 International (T20I) 50 by a South African. Born Abraham Benjamin de Villiers on February 17, 1984 in Bela-Bela, South Africa, to parents Millie de Villiers and Abraham B de Villiers, he has two brothers named Jan and Wessels. He attended Afrikaanse Hoër Seunskool in Pretoria along with teammate Faf du Plessis. De Villiers made his international debut in a Test match against England in 2004 and first played an ODI in early 2005. He made his Twenty20 International cricket debut in 2006. He has been married to Danielle de Villiers since 2013. They have two sons together.
