Rashad’s other notable works include Smash, Master of None, Bikini Moon, Come Sunday, and Saint Joan. Born Condola Phylea Rashad on December 11, 1986 in New York City, New York, USA, she is the daughter of actress Phylicia Rashad and sportscaster/retired pro football player Ahmad Rashad. She is the niece of Debbie Allen, and cousin of Norman Nixon Jr. and Vivian Nixon. She is a 2008 graduate of California Institute of the Arts.
