James Taylor is an American singer, songwriter and guitarist. He is best known for the hits “Fire and Rain”, “You’ve Got a Friend”, and “Shower the People.” He has won five Grammy Awards. He is one of the best-selling music artists of all time, having sold more than 100 million records worldwide. He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2000 and received a National Medal of the Arts in 2011.
