Taylor was born July 27, 1984 in Boston, Massachusetts. Young Schilling studied acting and worked meanwhile as a nanny on Manhattan. Her movie roles include Dagny Taggart on Atlas Shrugged: Part I and Christine Mendez on Argo. However she became really famous in 2013, when she started playing Piper Chapman, one of the female prisoners on Orange Is the New Black.
